There are two versions of each rom, the A2SD+ version (requires the stock Desire Hboot layout) and the CM7 version (which requires you to have S-OFF on your phone and the CM7 Hboot/partition layout)
For best performance I recommend using Ext4 for your Ext partition. If you are on Ext3 already you can just flash the following zip and it will re-format and align your Ext partition to Ext4 with no journaling. Please read the warning here before flashing the ext4 patch.
It has been suggested that if you are coming from another Ext format (Ext2, Ext3) using this script that once you have flashed the ext_alignment script that you should reboot recovery before trying to flash a rom, I have never had to but people who have been having issues using the script may want to give it a try.
Important Notes
- Ext Partition MUST be 1Gb minimum for this ROM
- Phone will reboot it self 3 times the first time you boot, it is a process of installing the Darktremors A2SD script
- To save some battery change the wifi power settings.
- To make the battery last longer, turn off pocket mode in settings/sounds

You need to use the CM7 HBoot partition setup I think.

Has anyone managerd to get a battery mod to work with RCMix CM7? I’ve tried everything, inluding cooking m own on UOT.
It does work, when you cook it on UOT tick the data++ box
Well I must be missing something. There is no data++ box on UOT.

I’m a first time reflasher for the Desire (classic) so may have done something wrong in the process.
It seems like the keyboard is not working. Every time I go to use it, for the setup application for example, it causes an error.
Additionally, the settings icon in the application folder is missing and trying to access it from the home screen tells me that the linked program is not on my phone.
Any ideas? Currently this is making my phone unusable.
Have you got a 1Gb ext partition on your SD card?
No, not yet. Just worked out I had to for A2SD to work.
Just shuffling through the forums now to work out how to set it up.

Sorted. Repartitioned the SD card and reflashed. Seems to be working as advertised.
I installed this ROM previous night and IMO its a great ROM ,So far its running good ,everything looks nice .

I’m a newbie to all of this, partitioned 8 GB sd card gparted , 1 GB EXT4,32 Linux Swap, rest of it as FAT32
When i checked the storage details through Titanium Backup I observed the below,
Can you please tell me is this the maximum Internal memory I can get ?
System ROM : 152 MB (28.8 MB free)
Internal : 304 MB(145 MB free)
SD Card : 7.79 GB (6.31 GB Free)
SD Card (s2sd) : 1.05 GB (589 MB Free)
